Statue of unity:
The Statue of Unity is the world’s tallest statue with a height of 182 metres located on the banks of Narmada and is a testament to Indian engineering and architecture. The statue was inaugurated by our prime minister Shri Narendra Modi on the occasion of the 143rd birth anniversary of Shri Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and was designed by renowned Indian sculptor Ram V Sutar.

Somnath Temple:
Somnath temple is one of the popular religious sites that attract thousands of tourists every year. Lord Shiva is the principal deity here. Accordingly, to history, the Somnath temple was repeatedly damaged by Muslim invaders during the 11 and 18th centuries. The contemporary temple has been constructed by Shri Vallabhbhai Patel during his reign as home minister. The new temple has been opened in 1951 after his passing away. We can also witness his statue erected in front of the temple to mark his contribution to the temple. Somnath beach is located about 800 metres from Somnath temple. Saputara:
Saputara is the only hill station in Gujarat, located at a height of 900 metres in the western ghats and is a part of the Dang District In Gujarath. It is approximately 410 km away from Ahmedabad and can be reached through national highway 953. The best time to visit this place is during the monsoon and post-monsoon season. People from all across India visit this place to witness the scenic and pristine view of sunrise and sunset.

GIR National Park:
It is the only national park in the world outside Africa, where one can see Asiatic lions living in their natural habitat, apart from the lions, Gir national park also offers a chance to witness various species of other wild animals and birds which include spotted leopards, marsh crocodiles, deer and snakes including king cobra alike. Gir national park is very well connected through air and roadways. It’s worth visiting this place if you are taking your children on your trip.
