Itinerary

Upon arrival at Madrid Airport, meet your coach and transfer to the hotel for check-in.


Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Dinner at restaurant and return to hotel for overnight.

After breakfast, it is time for you to enjoy a half day guided city tour of Madrid, the capital of Spain and the home of the Royal Family. You will see the famous sights of the city including the Prado Museum, the Royal Palace, Puerta Del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Cibeles and Neptune Fountains, the Gran Via, Plaza de Toros and Santiago Bernabeu stadium. Home of the world famous Real Madrid football team. The city and Spain in general, is very well known for the nightlife where bars, discos, and restaurants do not even start to get busy until 10 or 11 pm and stay open all night long! Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, depart to Cuenca, a UNESCO’s World Heritage site. A fabulous little city with a magnificent fortification, artfully built into the top of a rocky ridge that rises between two gorges. The Júcar and Huécar rivers in central Spain.
Its most striking feature is its “hanging houses”. Ancient homes with protruding balconies that literally cling to the edge of the ridge and seemingly to the face of the cliff, “hanging” high above the valley. After lunch, continue to Valencia, where you will arrive just in time for dinner and overnight at your hotel.

After breakfast, your guide will introduce you to this impressive and futuristic “City of Arts and Sciences” with striking images related to architecture, cosmology, art, music and more. Also, visit Plaza del Mercado, home of the Silk Market. 
A gothic civil architecture monument and the striking Santos Juanes Church. Visit the famous Aquarium called The Oceanographic. The largest aquarium in Europe which contains representatives of the world’s main marine ecosystems. 


Dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, we depart to Barcelona, travelling along the sparkling Mediterranean coast, passing through Castellon De La Plana and Tarragona with lunch on the way. Upon arrival in Barcelona, free time at Las Ramblas. Barcelona’s most famous and lively avenue, approximately 1.2 kilometres long. 


Proceed for dinner and continue to hotel for check-in and overnight.

After breakfast, enjoy a half-day guided city tour of Barcelona, including Plaza Cataluña, the Gothic Quarter, Motijuic and many more landmarks of this beautiful city. A great number of buildings are World Heritage Sites. 


Especially remarkable is the work of architect Antoni Gaudi­, which can be seen throughout the city. His best known work is the immense but still unfinished Cathedral the Sagrada Familia, which you will visit during the city tour. It is a symbol of Barcelona known all over the world and has been under construction since 1882. Other works by Gaudi­, include his famous Casa Batllo, Casa Mila, La Pedrera and Park Guell.

 

In the afternoon, is time to explore Barceloneta, Barcelona’s main beach. Here you can find many great sea food restaurants, serving up fresh catches of the day. 


Dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, check-out and transfer to the airport, all the while reminiscing of your wonderful Spanish experience.
